I returned home from vacation on Sunday evening, spent Monday relaxing and trying to get back on schedule, only to find, the next day, that my floors were wet. The water heater was LEAKING! Talk about terrible timing! I called the plumber/electrician and he came out to replace the heater for me.
But, in an effort to make lemonade out of these super sour lemons, I had him install a new kitchen faucet and front porch light. They were definitely needed and make me smile when I see them!

That's terrible you had a leak but I do like the improvements! In our old house we had a humidifier that was connected to our heater. It leaked all over our basement floor the first time we used it. It was not a nice surprise!

Yikes! That's so frustrating. I can't believe the relaxing moment you had on a Monday had to be taken away by a leak the next day. At least, the plumber did a good job with both the heater and the sink. I guess everything went well after all. All the best, Sarah! :)
