Sunday Scoop

Well hello blog world!  Long time no see!  This has been the BEST first two weeks of school, but I'm still super exhausted and haven't had time to blog.  But soon.  I promise!  One day this week, you'll FINALLY get to see my classroom reveal!  I'm so excited to share that with you.

But for now, I'm linking up with The Teaching Trio for their new Sunday Scoop link up!  Visit their blog and link up as well!  Can't wait to see what you have to do, want to do and are happy to do!!

My have to do list is probably the same as every other teacher in the world!  It's Sunday morning...and it's another Sunday where I haven't even started lesson plans for the week!  Oops!  I'm behind on my grad school assignments...so I've gotta get on those!  And since I've been coming home and crashing, my house is a mess!  Must.  Get.  House.  Clean!!

My hope to do list is a bit more fun!  I'm reading a good book called Bittersweet by Miranda Beverly-Whittemore.  I'm loving it so far, but I haven't had a chance to read lately.  So, I'm hoping to get back into that soon!  And my workout routine has been pretty non-existent (except for my time walking behind the push mower! haha).  I'm hoping to get back into that soon!!

And finally, my happy to do list is the best!  My church is having a Friends and Family Cookout today!  I'm so excited to spend this time hanging out, eating some good food and talking with some awesome people!'

  1. Ugh! I remember going to graduate school, completing my intern hours, and working as a teacher full time. I thought I was going to die. My home was definitely not tidy during that time, so I can totally relate. Enjoy the time with your family and friends!

  2. Church cookouts are the best! My church now is huge, so we don't really do them other than with our small groups. Have a great time! Thanks for linking up!

  3. If you lived closer to Richmond, I would say we could be workout buddies. It's hard to get back into the schedule when you start back...
