Semi-Charmed Challenge: My Preliminary List

Yesterday, I posted about the Semi-Charmed Book Challenge that I am going to participate in this summer.  It runs from July 1 through September 30.  If you want to read more about the challenge and join in, you can do so here!

Here are my list of books that I'm hoping to read for this challenge!  They may change slightly - but I'm hoping to keep it to this list!


5 points: Freebie!  Read any book you'd like, as long as it follows the rules.

5 points: Read a book that is less than 150 pages long.

10 points: Read a book with a color in the title.

10 points: Read a book that is not the first in its series.

15 points: Read a book it seems everyone but you has read.
           Gone Girl by Gillian Flynn
15 points: Read a banned book.
           The Perks of Being a Wallflower by Stephen Chbosky
20 points: Read a book written by a celebrity.
           Someday, Someday, Maybe: A Novel by Lauren Graham
20 points: Read a non-fiction book that is not a memoir.
           The Book Whisperer by Donalyn Miller
20 points: Read a book that takes place in a state you have never been in.
           Getting Warmer by Carol Snow
25 points: Read a book that is at least 400 pages long.
           The Forgotten Garden by Kate Morton
25 points: Read a book with a main character who shares your first name.
           Girls in Trucks by Katie Crouch
30 points: Read a book written by an author who was born in the same year as you.
           Passing as Elias by Kate Bloomfield
