Completing this goal has been a long time coming. It's been less than a year since I last went to a Weight Watchers meeting, but it feels like an eternity. I have been able to feel myself slipping and I know I haven't been making good choices. I follow another blogger who posts weekly about her Weight Watchers updates and it's been a huge inspiration for me to get back into the game. This afternoon, she posted that she had a great week and she hit a goal she was working towards. After reading that post, I went immediately to the Weight Watchers website and signed up for the online program.
I'm not sure how the online program is going to work since I won't be going to the meetings (which I feel are a huge help), but I'm going to give it a try. I'm going to give my kitchen a makeover and revamp my exercise plan (which is hard to do when there is no Gold's Gym or American Family Fitness in the area!) But between Jillian Michaels' workout DVDs and Just Dance, I think working out at home will prove to be pretty fun!
So, as of Friday, December 21st, I'm officially a member of Weight Watchers again. Here's to a new me - and a new year! And tomorrow is my first weigh-in. Eeek!
