I'm linking up with Doodle Bugs Teaching today for her fun Five For Friday post! Here's where you share all things fun from your week!
I've been on vacation this week...at the beach! The Outer Banks of North Carolina, to be exact! It's funny - most people come to the beach to hang out and relax (on the beach). I come to the beach to travel and get around. The week isn't over yet and my little car has already driven 600 miles SINCE WE ARRIVED (not including travel!)! Crazy, huh!? I'm planning on doing a better photo dump post with some pictures but here are a few favorites.
In SIX DAYS, I'll be boarding a plane to EUROPE!! Wanna have a fun little giveaway!? Well, I posted last week about my new teacher planner and gave one away (and the winner is listed at the end of this post)! I'm going to give one more copy away! I'm visiting three cities in Europe. Leave a comment on this blog post, with your three guesses as to the cities that I'm visiting. The first person to correctly choose all three will win a copy of my new teacher planner! I'll choose and announce the winner on Monday!
I'm currently working on completing my master's degree in Instructional Technology. Being at school isn't as fun as I remembered...especially online, but I am learning a bunch of great things! What's also not fun is taking summer classes...while at the beach! But a girl's gotta do what a girl needs to do to graduate on time, right!? This has been my view a few times this week while at the beach. But at least the class will be all over with next week! Yay!
Now that summer is in full swing, I've got a lot of classroom ideas to make, create, and implement. And a lot of pinterest pins to complete. What is your number one to-do item for your classroom this summer?
WINNER, WINNER!
I gave away a copy of my new teacher planner last week, and I'm happy to announce that Cindy C. was the winner! Cindy, send me an email to beyondthegradebook12@gmail.com to claim your prize!! Congratulations! And, if you didn't win, don't forget to enter my flash giveaway that ends Sunday night! Read number 2 above for the rules!
So jealous of your trip to Europe! No such longer for your master's? I went back for mine in reading about 4 years ago. It's hard work, though.

Your beach pictures are gorgeous, but I am not a beach person. We usually vacation in the winter and go skiing! Your Europe cities are Paris, London, and Rome!

Teachers Are Terrific!
I am getting my Masters in Curriculum and Educational Technology! I absolutely LOVE my technology classes! This summer, for my classroom, I am focusing on getting my books and cabinets organized! I think this is probably something I will have to do each year because Pinterest will give me too many new ideas!
ReplyDeleteYour trip now looks fantastic and I'm sure Europe will be amazing! Good luck with your classes. I did my Masters in Ed Leadership nearly all online and it was a learning curve for sure.
ReplyDeleteCities: London, Paris, Amsterdam
