When the house floods...

I returned home from vacation on Sunday evening, spent Monday relaxing and trying to get back on schedule, only to find, the next day, that my floors were wet.  The water heater was LEAKING!  Talk about terrible timing!  I called the plumber/electrician and he came out to replace the heater for me.

But, in an effort to make lemonade out of these super sour lemons, I had him install a new kitchen faucet and front porch light.  They were definitely needed and make me smile when I see them!

Kitchen Makeover Plans - on the cheap!

Since moving into my house in October, I've been dreaming of redoing the kitchen.  The only problem is that a full kitchen renovation is definitely not in the budget!  So, I've made it my mission to redo the kitchen on the cheap!  Here's what I hope to accomplish for this project!
